The Granary
Pen-y-holt farm was a working farm built in the 19th Century. It was converted in the late 1970s into individual properties. Many of the original features have been retained yet with all modern conveniences. The pretty bedrooms with exposed A-Frames complement the wooden floors and whitewashed walls. There are distant sea views over farm land from the main bedroom which has a king size bed and room for a cot which is available when requested. A hairdryer is supplied as are bathroom towels and bed linen.
There is a large family bathroom with bath and separate large shower compartment. There is a large airing cupboard and a power point for an electric shaver. The twin bedroom is very spacious with a television and dvd player. There are also sea views from this room. There is ample storage with fitted wardrobes and chest of drawers in both bedrooms. There is a small safe to keep valuables in.
In the large open plan living area there are feature arched windows with exposed brick surround. The floor has been laid with reclaimed Welsh slate tiles with under floor heating to complement the wood burning stove. The Granary is equipped to a high standard. There is an electric range cooker, large fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a walk in larder and an ample range of cooking utensils. There is a television and dvd player with a selection of dvds. There is a radio and cd player. The Granary is more like a second home than a holiday let.
Outside The Granary there is a shower room with a toilet, great for after surfing. The pretty landscaped private patio for the exclusive use of The Granary has a built in barbeque and seating area which has atmospheric outside lighting. There is a large lawn of 3/4 of an acre which is shared with The Byre.
